Call For Contributions

Proposals are welcome for contributions to be presented at the On the Land and Water conference, June 1-4, 2027. Contributions can take a variety of formats, to share knowledge, experience, creativity and/or practice. All proposed contributions should relate to Indigenous stewardship, livelihoods, and wellbeing, relating to the main conference goal:

“exploring how relationships with and among lands, waters, cultures, and communities shape stewardship, livelihoods and wellbeing”

Contributions should also relate to one or more of the conference themes:

  • Relationships with Land, Water & All Our Relations

  • Stewardship, Harvesting & Food Sovereignty

  • Healing Relations with Mother Earth

  • Sustainable Indigenous Livelihoods

  • Indigenous Medicine, Health & Community Wellbeing

  • Knowledge, Language, Culture & Intergenerational Learning

  • Equity, Justice & Collective Futures
