  • The gathering welcomes Indigenous community members, leaders, Knowledge Holders, Elders, youth, students, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, organizations, and others interested in Indigenous-led stewardship and wellbeing.

  • Registration dates, fees, and instructions will be posted on the website when available.

  • Yes. On the Land and Water is planned as an in-person gathering in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Mi’kma’ki, Canada.

  • Yes. Students and youth are warmly encouraged to take part.

  • The Day on the Land is a full day of land-based learning hosted with Mi’kmaq Knowledge Holders, Elders, and local partners.

  • The conference organizers are unlikely to have funding to support travel of attendees outside the Arramat project. Howevre, information about travel, registration, or participation support will be shared if and when funding is confirmed.

  • Accessibility and language-support information will be provided as plans are confirmed. Participants will be invited to share accommodation needs during registration.

  • A program-at-a-glance will be posted first, followed by session and speaker details closer to the gathering.
